This is a nice lovely trail with easily accessible paths - it's really suitable for anyone.
It starts at Plaza de Juán Paredes in La Azohía and loops up and around in the local countryside. The route includes passing Torre de Santa Elena a 16th Centuary watchtower which commands panoramic views across the Bay of Mazarrón. The trail will probably take you about 1.5 to 2 hours and is about 3.5 miles long. La Azohía is a charming fishing village located on the Costa Calida. It's a beautiful area at the eastern end of the Gulf of Mazarron. The long stretches of golden sandy beached and crystal clear sea makes for a wonderfull setting. The town itself has a few local shops and a handful of bars and restaurants. Puerto de Mazarron is just 5 kilometres away where there are more amenities to hand.
